General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, September 20, reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will push Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) to hand over the reins at Aurora and focus on his campaign, so he’ll plan to let Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) take on more responsibilities.
Curtis will tell Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that things are only going up from here, but then he’ll get updates from Drew and worry about this new challenge.
It could mean more hours away from Portia and their family, so Curtis will have to decide how much he’s willing to sacrifice.
Over with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll deal with more anxiety over her feelings for Drew and the drama they could cause in her marriage.
However, Willow may also notice Drew’s growing bond with Nina and feel a little weirded out over that, too.
Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will get into a heated confrontation with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who’ll angrily insist he can find “him.”
Ned may have some way to locate Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and complain about all the other strategies taking too long.
Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will eventually come along as serve as a confidant for Ned, who’ll do some venting on Friday’s GH episode.
As for Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), he’ll question Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) about the info given to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Robert may lash out over Brennan sending Anna straight into danger and demand the latest news.
Robert doesn’t know it yet, but another one of his exes is tangled up in the Lucky mess. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) just found Anna with Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) stolen phone, so she’ll rant about catching Anna red-handed.
Anna is trying to copy the chip info from that phone, so she may end up bickering with Holly about Lucky and how they’re trying to get him back home to save Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).
Unfortunately, another risky situation is brewing once Jason offends Sidwell at the card table.
Jason is already on Sidwell’s bad side for insulting his drink choice and spilling the replacement to get him out of that jacket, which gave Anna an opportunity to swipe the phone.
Now Jason will accuse Sidwell of cheating, so a furious Sidwell will deny it. Jason will insist he doesn’t lie, so this situation seems poised to escalate quickly as Sidwell hits the roof.
Although Jason will keep Sidwell busy like he’s supposed to, it’ll create a dangerous predicament that could get out of hand.
