Y&R Spoilers Sad News: Lucy Learns Her Mom Has Died – Sharon Tells Nick It’s Her Fault

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, October 3 reveals Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will mourn Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).

Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will give their kids a heads up. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will cry on Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) shoulder. And Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will continue to teeter on the edge of sanity.

Y&R spoilers tease Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will meet up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and say she wants to move fast on the Abbott-Chancellor takeover.

“We have to be very patient, try to dislodge him,” he’ll reply. So, Lily will ask what’s changed. And Victor will say Victoria basically warned Billy an attack was coming.

But Lily will say there could be another solution. “We plant a spy,” she’ll suggest.

Then Lily will tell him Phyllis is the company’s new COO, and they should use her to bring down Billy and she might have an idea of how to do it.

Meanwhile, Billy will tell Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) he and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) broke up.

Then he’ll ask if they’re going to stay in Genoa City and he and Victoria will be thrilled when they say they are.

Billy will tell his kids he’s excited about the future of his company. “But your grandfather might try and spoil my success.” Katie will say grandpa is so sweet, she can’t imagine he’d be out to get him.

“He already owns so many companies, why does he need yours?” Johnny will add. But after Katie and Johnny leave, Victoria will tell Billy he deliberately made their grandfather a villain.

At Sharon’s place, she’ll tell Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) her doctor said she’s made remarkable progress. She’ll look at her phone.

“Nothing in the news.” But then she’ll see a report that an unidentified female body has been pulled from a local river. “Dear God, did they find Heather?” Sharon will say.

“Why did they have to find her?!” she’ll shout at Cameron. Sharon will add that she’s never going to get away with this.

Once the investigation starts, she knows they’re coming for her. But Cameron will say there could be a way to turn this to her favor and get closure.

At Crimson Lights, a devastated Phyllis will walk in and see Nick. “Something terrible happened,” she’ll say. “Heather’s dead.”

Then Phyllis will tell him the details. Nick will say Daniel and Lucy may have lost Heather but they have another strong woman in their lives to help get them through this tragedy.

Then Phyllis will take Nick’s hand, just as Sharon walks in.

After Phyllis leaves, Nick will tell Sharon Heather’s dead. She’ll feign surprise and Nick will say Daniel and Lucy have been through so much lately as it is.

“Yes, and it’s all my fault,” Sharon will reply. A shocked Nick will ask why. So, Sharon will cover and say she’s thinking about the way she made Heather feel. But Nick will look at her suspiciously.

Young And The Restless Scoop – They Run Smack Dab Into Sharon

At Daniel’s apartment, he’ll tell Lucy he has horrible news. “Is this about mom?” she’ll ask. “Did I do something to make her mad?”

But Daniel will say there’s a reason they haven’t heard from Heather. “I’m so sorry, I don’t know how to say this. Your mom has died.”

But Lucy won’t want to believe it. She’ll say they couldn’t have found her in the river, she knew how to swim. “I went to the morgue today,” Daniel will tell his daughter.

“I saw her body.” Lucy will say Heather wanted to go to Portugal, but she threw a fit. It’s all her fault. But Daniel will tell her she is not to blame.

Then he’ll call Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and tell him Heather died. “I don’t know how either one of us are going to go on without her.”

And he’ll ask him to come to Genoa City. “Paul, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.” After he hands up, Daniel will knock a chair over, scream in agony and fall to the ground.

Phyllis will arrive and tell her son she’s there for him. “I don’t know how I’m supposed to bury her,” he’ll reply. She’ll ask if he called Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) yet and when he says no, Phyllis will offer to do it.

Finally, Lucy will suggest they get out of the apartment and they’ll head to the park. But they’ll run smack dab into Sharon.

She’ll say she feels horrible about the last time she saw Heather and hopes Lucy will forgive her someday. “I never had the chance with your mom to earn her forgiveness after the hell I put her through, and for that, I don’t know if I can forgive myself.”
