The Fate Of The Children Is Decided In Three Trials, Who Will Win? General Hospital Spoilers

General Hospital spoilers tease that this July appears to be the peak month regarding child custody battles. Of course, when a war occurs, it always comes with significant consequences, which is true because some characters may end up in jail after failing to fight for custody of their children.

General Hospital Recap: Ava Admits to Sonny that She Killed Nikolas

Avery Corinthos’ Custody Battle:

First, the custody battle over Avery Corinthos is getting fiercer. Ava Jerome has lost Sonny Corinthos’ trust, which almost takes away any chance of being close to Avery.

Ava’s meticulously crafted plans fall apart, leaving her in a vulnerable position. Sonny, driven by his fierce protectiveness, is determined to keep Ava away from Avery.

The tipping point for Sonny’s anger was Ava’s decision to release the recording of the conversation between her and Natalia Ramirez. In that recording, Natalia disparages Sonny’s daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis.

This betrayal ensures that Sonny will not forgive Natalia nor will he allow Ava access to Avery. The custody battle for Avery is filled with emotional turmoil and strategic moves.

Sonny refuses to let Ava near Avery, and it’s not just because of the betrayal on the recording; it’s also about Sonny’s deep need to protect his daughter Kristina from any possible harm.

On the other hand, Ava longs to be a part of Avery’s life, but her past actions left her with little room to negotiate.

The release of the damaging recording not only alienates Sonny but also fuels his determination to completely cut Ava out of his life.

Natalia’s role in defaming Kristina only adds another layer of complexity. That’s when Sonny’s rampage extended to ensuring that Natalia had to face the consequences as well.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ Custody Battle:

The custody battle also extends to Kristina, who is determined to keep her child. TJ Ashford and Molly Lansing-Davis became increasingly worried that Kristina would not give them the baby when it was born.

Their fears were well-founded as Kristina and Blaze began making plans to raise the child on their own. This situation could lead to a legal battle in court between Kristina and Blaze and Molly and TJ.

The outcome is uncertain, while TJ’s paternity may be questioned. Clearly, Molly will not be recognized as the new baby’s mother because, biologically, Kristina is the baby’s mother.

Kristina’s desire to keep her child brings an additional layer of tension to the story of the Corinthos family as Molly and TJ’s hopes of raising a child wane.

Kristina’s alliance with Blaze becomes a force to be reckoned with. Their intention to fight legally for custody of their child adds a dramatic courtroom battle to the story.

The biological connection that Kristina has to the baby further strengthens her position, making Molly’s claim weaker by comparison. This legal dispute not only affects the immediate parties but also has the potential to spread throughout their extended families and cause division.

Hamilton Finn’s Custody Conflict:

In addition to these custody battles, another important conflict involves Hamilton Finn. Finn was the one who entered rehab and left Violet Finn in the care of Harrison Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine.

The arrangement is relatively stable until Violet’s biological mother, Hayden Barnes, returns to town. Chase and Brook Lynn are outraged that Hayden abandoned Violet.

They object to Hayden’s sudden reappearance and are trying to regain custody of the child. They firmly believe that only Finn, after returning from rehab, has the right to decide whether Hayden is suitable to be a mother to Violet again.

Finn, Chase, and Brook Lynn’s situation is equally emotional. Finn’s absence due to addiction puts a huge responsibility on Chase and Brook Lynn, who have formed a strong bond with Violet. Hayden’s return complicates this dynamic significantly.

Her decision to leave Violet in the past was a significant point of contention, and Chase and Brook Lynn’s protective instincts are still in effect.

They believe that Finn’s voice will be the decisive factor in determining Violet’s future. With Finn’s primary parental role, Hayden’s sudden desire to become a part of Violet’s life again is met with skepticism and resistance. It highlights the complexity of family relationships as well as the challenges of redemption and forgiveness.
