Wes Ramsey’s Sweet Message to His “Darling” Laura Wright

He doesn’t post very often on Instagram, but on the rare occasion that Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter, General Hospital) does share a photo on the social media site, his lady love Laura Wright (Carly) is typically the object of his attention and affection!

Such was the case on Sept. 11 when Ramsey dedicated a lovely message to his longtime partner on her birthday! In his post, Ramsey shared a selfie of a fresh-faced Wright looking up at the camera with her glasses perched atop her head

“Today has been another beautiful day filled with laughter, love, gratitude, and fun. Happy Birthday to you my darling!” Ramsey captioned the image. “Thank you for your… everything.”

The sweet note was not just from Ramsey, but the couple’s dog, too! “Kimba and I love you… and love that we get to share it all with you.”

Wright and Ramsey first met over 20 years ago, way back in 2001 as she was starring on the CBS soap Guiding Light as Cassie Layne when he joined the cast as Sam Spencer.

But a love connection didn’t blossom between them until they reconnected at a Daytime Emmy Awards party in 2017. They have been inseparable ever since and celebrated their seventh dating anniversary in April!

In the years since, Wright and Ramsey have built a beautiful life together. In addition to adopting their dog Kimba, the couple have shared some amazing vacations together — like their trip to Lake Tahoe this past summer with a group of friends and visiting her son LJ in Aspen, Colorado.

On her own Instagram page, Wright acknowledged her birthday with her signature optimism. “53 was amazing,” she admitted, captioning a set of selfies. “Let’s see what ya got 54.”

Please join us in wishing Wright a very happy belated birthday!
