Is Mark the one helping to produce the drugs that have caused so many to OD in Salem and other places where Clyde has been since he restarted his drug operation?
Clyde wanted EJ Dimera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) help with his drug ring but ended up with Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) instead. Suppose Mark is somehow tied to the Dimera’s and Clyde is using him for payback.
After all, these are certainly not the only children Stefano had out there and Mark could easily be related to one of the others.

Perhaps Clyde knows that Mark doesn’t have legal custody of his siblings and that is what he is threatening Mark with. Mark has taken care of his siblings for years.
How much time did these kids have to spend alone while Mark pretended to be their guardian. What could have happened to these kids without someone watching over them?
Whatever the case may be, Clyde certainly has something over marks head or he would be going along with all of this. After all, Mark could lose his job for tampering with the DNA test.
