The Days of Our Lives actress is sharing the screen with Niall Matter in “This Time Each Year.” The movie will officially launch the network’s “Miracles of Christmas” event.
Sweeney gushed in her post, “Wow! My first time getting to work with @officiallyniallmatter.” She clearly loves every second of it!
Moreover, Alison can’t wait to get everyone into the Christmas spirit with this special film directed by Crystal Lowe. She couldn’t be prouder of the project.

So, what’s the movie all about? It follows the lives of Lauren and Kevin, who were once happily married but now separated. Additionally, they co-parent their adorable son, Charlie.
The twist? Kevin is all in on the idea of them being a family again. However, Lauren doesn’t feel the same way. But things turn funny when Lauren’s mom shows up for the holidays.
The catch is that Lauren hasn’t spilled the beans to her mom about the split. Additionally, she convinces Kevin to pretend they’re still together. What starts as a simple charade soon brings back old, sweet memoirs.
Suddenly, their pretend relationship feels a little too real, and Lauren begins to see Kevin in a whole new way. Will they kiss under the mistletoe?
