Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander & Nicole’s Fierce Showdown – Old Foes Have a New Reason to Face Off

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will reflect on his history and ultimately open up to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). On June 26, Sarah will ask some questions and get Xander talking about his relationship with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) before he passed away.

Days fans will recall that relationship was often incredibly contentious.

Xander wasn’t really treated like a proper member of the Kiriakis family – partly due to his long list of crimes and all his horrible behavior over the years.

Although Xander eventually turned his life around, he’ll still regret the emotional distance he felt with Victor and will hate that he can’t fix that now.

Of course, there’s another layer to all this that Xander doesn’t realize.

Victor obviously wanted to make things right as well since he left Xander half his fortune in his will.

Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) is to blame for deceiving Xander about that, but she’s not the one Xander will be feuding with in DOOL’s June 27 episode.

Days spoilers say it’ll be Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) who Xander goes up against instead, but why exactly will they be fighting?

It’s no secret that Xander isn’t Nicole’s favorite person.

Xander nearly caused Nicole’s grim fate on more than one occasion – not to mention he helped blow up her marriage to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

This could bring a chance to rehash some of Xander’s previous transgressions – like the time he held Nicole in a cage back in Greece or tried to burn her up in a furnace with Eric before that.

That said, there’ll have to be a new reason for Nicole and Xander to face off.

It could be as simple as a news story in The Spectator if Nicole manages to publish something that Xander disapproves of behind his back.

It’s easy to imagine Nicole offering up some article that paints Xander in a poor light.

For example, Nicole might make it seem like Xander got away with another crime over the whole Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) ordeal.

Regardless, Xander and Nicole are gearing up for a major confrontation, so we’ll bring you more Days predictions as their fight gets closer.
