DOOL Weekly Preview: Killer Strikes Again, Couples Reunite, and a Double Wedding Surprise Guest
Murder, mayhem, and matrimony are on the agenda, according to Days of our Lives spoilers video preview. A crazed killer strikes again, two couples reunite, and a pair of weddings begin, but will they go off without a hitch? Here’s your DAYS preview for the week of July 15-19, 2024.
Killer Strikes Again
Crazy Connie (Julie Dove) strikes again. On the heels of learning she’s the person who murdered Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), the unhinged psychopath attacks a new target: Rafe (Galen Gering).
Connie creeps up behind Rafe at the ceremony and plunges a knife into his back, just like she did to Li. Rafe screams out in pain and collapses to the ground. Moments later, Jada (Elia Cantu) finds him on the scene. “Oh my God. Rafe,” she cries out.
Later, at the hospital, a frantic Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) arrives on the scene. “How bad is it?” she asks Jada. Before Jada can respond, the scene cuts to his hospital room, where someone says, “We’re losing him.”
Showing How They Feel
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate (Leo Howard) rendezvous at a secret place now that everyone thinks he’s away at camp. The young couple come together in a tender kiss.
Meanwhile, EJ (Dan Feurriegel) realizes his future with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is over. Not that she knows the truth about Jude’s paternity; he’s certain she’ll go running back to Eric (Greg Vaughan).
“I’ve witnessed their addiction to each other,” he tells Marlena (Deidre Hall). “Then why didn’t you let her go?” asks Marlena, following her question up by smacking EJ across the face.
EJ’s not being paranoid. In fact, he’s actually spot on. Nicole and Eric end up alone together, their deep love drawing them to each other.
Double Wedding Drama
The double wedding of Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) gets underway at the Kirkiakis mansion.
The two grooms wait for their brides to walk down the aisle as Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) walks Sarah down the aisle. Theresa arrives and stands lovingly by Alex’s side.
Justin (Wally Kurth), who’s officiating Alex and Theresa’s ceremony, gets to the part where he begins posing the traditional question: “If there’s anyone present who knows any reason these two should not be joined in matrimony…”
Brady (Eric Martsolf) certainly does, but he’s been keeping mum so far. “You still have feelings for her,” deduces Paul (Christopher Sean), confronting his brother. “Am I wrong?” Will Brady ‘fess up that he still loves his ex, or will he allow her to marry Alex?
Meanwhile, Maggie, who’s officiating Xander and Sarah’s ceremony, poses the same question as Justin and gets to the important part. “Speak now or forever hold your peace,” she says. At that moment, a surprise guest arrives on the scene. The crowd turns while Alex, perplexed, asks, “Who’s that?” Will the mystery guest blow up one of the couple’s wedding day? Tune in to find out.
