General Hospital

Did General Hospital Just Lay the Groundwork for [Spoiler] to Kill Sam?

Sam is a woman on a mission on General Hospital. Alexis has been (unintentionally) framed for Cates’ killing, and thanks to her fierce defense of Kristina, she’s just been tossed into jail.

Michael and Sonny talk GH

Getting caught tossing a gun was one thing, but Alexis backed herself into a corner when she claimed she was the only one to drive her car the night Jagger was murdered. Because it was spotted at the Quartermaines the same time as his death, thanks to Kristina’s joyride!

Honestly, Kristina couldn’t have framed her mom any better if she tried… But then, she wouldn’t have tried because she’s not the one who killed Jagger!

Sam knows her mom didn’t do it, though, and unlike Molly, she isn’t trying to put the blame on Kristina. In fact, she’s got a pretty good idea of who did kill Agent Cates: Sonny.

She’s right, of course, but that’s what’s got us worried. Because today, Michael made his loyalties clear when he told his dad that Sam’s on to him and won’t stop until she finds proof that he was the one to off the FBI’s Most Hated and clears Alexis’ name.

Sonny is a proud papa, since Michael chose family over justice, but that just means the odds are stacked even more against Sam. (Check out today’s full recap here.)

Sonny wouldn’t kill Sam, especially if she was just trying to clear Alexis’ name for something the don knows he did. At least, he wouldn’t kill her intentionally.

General Hospital's Sonny May Be the One to Kill Sam

We’re pretty sure. But that doesn’t mean something won’t go wrong, especially if Sam keeps digging and digging.

Sonny can’t just let that go, unless he’s prepared to turn himself in. And since he hasn’t done that so far, we’re going to guess it’s not an option he’s big on.

We know Kelly Monaco’s leaving and Sam’s going to die. And now, we’re afraid we may have just found out how. A confrontation with Sonny is going to go wrong and that will be that for Sam.

Maybe she’ll fall during a fight, much like Kristina did with Ava, but won’t survive. Maybe she’ll pull a gun on Sonny, desperate to get him to confess and it’ll go off in a struggle.

No matter how you slice it, Sam and Sonny are on a collision course. And this time, we don’t think she’ll survive it. Of course, if Sonny ends up being responsible for two deaths, he’s going to need to start looking long and hard for a few more governors’ daughters to rescue, because we have no idea how he’ll get out of this one!
