Brace Yourselves, General Hospital Fans: Sasha’s *Whole* Backstory Is Even Weirder Than We Thought

You’re gonna wanna sit down to read this story, General Hospital fans. The week of October 14, ABC’s daytime drama at last told us Sasha’s origin story — and it’s a doozy!

Apparently, Sasha is the daughter of Holly Sutton and Robert Scorpio.

When the former face of Deception was born, Dad was “dead,” and upon his resurrection a dozen years later, baddies were in hot pursuit.

So rather than introduce father and daughter, Holly kept Sasha away for her safety’s sake.

Once that initial danger had passed, why didn’t Holly inform Robert that his and Anna’s daughter Robin had a younger half sister?

Per Holly, she feared that she’d be rejected by the love of her life if she told him after so long that surprise! He had a 12-year-old!

It gets worse. Holly also got Sasha mixed up in countless cons growing up.

And when eons ago Holly went to bail out Ethan — her son with the late Luke Spencer — she dumped Sasha  in One Life to Live’s Llanview, with David Vickers, it sounds like!

But wait, there’s more. And you’re gonna wanna follow closely now, because things are about to get even more confusing.

Sasha knows about Ethan, which makes it seem like Lucky should know that his half brother has a half sister, but it doesn’t sound like he does.

It’s also a bit of a head-scratcher if you think back to the storyline that followed Robin’s “death” in 2012. Robert was so suicidal that Luke lied that Ethan was his pal’s son.

But if things were that dire, wouldn’t Holly have piped up to say, “Darling, not to worry, you have another daughter!”?

There is, as always, the possibility that Holly is telling tall tales as part of a con.

And we can only hope that that’s the case, because if she isn’t, eesh! That would make Sasha and Cody — the son of Robert’s brother, Mac — kissing cousins!
