General Hospital Shocking Spoilers Gio reveals the truth, Trina is shocked – For All The Wrong Reasons
General Hospital spoilers tease that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been without direction ever since her true love, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) died in Paris saving Trina from Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
While Spencer’s body wasn’t found after he went overboard with Esme, authorities soon declared Spencer dead. While there is every possibility that Spencer could return one day, for now he’s gone.
General Hospital Spoilers – Trina Robinson lost all her motivation!
Trina dropped out of PCU for the semester and admitted she wasn’t sure if she would ever go back. She hasn’t been able to see that her live has any purpose with Spencer gone.
Trina hasn’t figured out how to move on with her life so she’s been spending her time working at Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) gallery.
And while Trina is slowly getting better, there’s still a huge hole in her heart. But the arrival of Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) could change everything.
GH Spoilers – Trina Robinson was reminded of Spencer Cassadine!
The first time Trina laid eyes on Spencer (that she knew of at the time), her best friend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pushed him into the pool of the Metro Court. She saw Spencer emerge from the pool and she was immediately taken with the young man.
Coincidentally, Josslyn accidentally caused Gio to fall into the same pool and when Trina arrived, she was confused at how similar the young man looked like Spencer the first time they met. Soon Josslyn, introduced Gio to Trina and they seemed to hit it off.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos wasn’t an issue!
Although Gio is grateful to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) for helping pay for his violin lessons, he wasn’t angry at Trina when she revealed why Josslyn hates the mobster. Trina smoothed things over and the two seemed to move past the issue entirely.
But Trina ran off when Gio asked why Trina seem startled when she first saw him. But look Trina to be drawn to Gio because of his slight resemblance to Spencer.
Trina may even try to subconsciously treat Gio like Spencer so any possible romance will have to wait until Trina can see Gio who he is, not as just a replacement for Spencer.
