General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison Closes One Chapter, Looks Ahead To New Adventures

Cameron Mathison not only has his General Hospital plate full, as Drew has decided to run for Congress but he’s also got several irons in the fire. The hard-working actor recently shared his joy at an accomplishment made by his daughter, Leila.

On Beyond High School

Cameron Mathison, who’s taken GH’s Drew to the dark side and back, has got a lot going on. Not only has he inked a three-year deal with Great American Family to make films for them, he’s also got a new gig hosting the brand new game show, Beat The Bridge, all while remaining on the sudser.

On top of all that, he and his wife Vanessa have been raising their two kids, Leila and Lucas. One wonders when he ever finds time to sleep.

Cameron Mathison Celebrates Daughter Leila's High School Graduation: “I Couldn't Be - YouTube

Mathison took to Instagram recently, excitedly sharing another change in his life. He wrote, “A chapter closes and a new one begins as Leila graduates high school❤️🎓 Your dedication, resilience, and passion have brought you to this moment, and I couldn’t be prouder,” adding, “You amaze me every single day. I love you so much❤️. Here’s to all the adventures that lie ahead🎉. Next stop Paris🇫🇷.”

Congratulations, Leila!

Along with that, he shared several photos and a video from Leila’s graduation, showing the happy family rejoicing in her accomplishment. Fellow soap star Don Diamont (Bill, The Bold and the Beautiful) enthusiastically responded, “CONGRATULATIONS LEILA👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️.” His co-stars Eva LaRue (Natalia), Tabyana Ali (Trina), and Finola Hughes (Anna), as well as The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), sent their congratulations with applause, hearts, and party emojis.

Wife Vanessa lovingly responded with, “One of the most beautiful moments of our lives❤️…and so many bittersweet tears as she moves along her journey in life.”

According to the end of his post, either the family’s taking a trip to Paris, France, or perhaps Leila will attend college there. All of that is mere speculation, but we’re happy for Leila for achieving this major life milestone!
