General Hospital Spoilers report Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) hit the singles market after her break-up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with absolutely no intention of bouncing back and into bed with someone else.
But rumor has it she’s going to land there soon anyway as the men keep lining up to knock on her door. With so many suitors to choose from, will Carly end up falling into something special — or something dangerous with the wrong person?
We’re all on pins and needles waiting for her to reunite with Jason, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to get what we’re asking for.
None of us here should be surprised about that slow burn. But will Jason biding his time and protecting Carly end up being the nail in the coffin of their opportunity to seize romance as she gets wrapped up in someone else?
General Hospital Spoilers — John Jagger Cates Pops Corks And Questions
Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) showed up at just the right time in Carly’s life. Their first encounter at Bobbie’s was something rather chemical as they locked eyes, clearly attracted to one another.
When Carly found Jagger bleeding and beaten on the docks — chasing off his two attackers — she nursed him back to health throughout the night, being the good samaritan that she is. But his unannounced arrival at her office with champagne this week was far from expected.
After all, his thank you was coming several weeks late, and he didn’t let on as to what he was really celebrating.
While Carly might be furious with the guy right now for holding evidence about her over Jason’s head to force him to become an informant for the FBI, that doesn’t mean Jagger’s chances with Carly are dashed.
GH Spoilers – Leak Brennan Jack Is As Charmed As He Is Charming
Carly hasn’t been able to stay away from Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) either. They too first met at Bobbie’s, and Jack practically charmed the pants off of her right away — even though he was clearly digging for information on the people she loved.
That didn’t stop Carly from digging right back and trying to determine who he was and what he was about.
Her pitstop at Pentonville recently to check in on him and let him know the FBI was investigating him went a long way with Jack — who weirdly seems to actually have a conscience.
Sure, she botched Police Commissioner Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) investigation alongside Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but she scored points with Jack.
Will she cash in on those now that she needs more information to help save Jason from the FBI’s clutches? How much trouble can she possibly get into by warming up to a guy in prison?
When Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) stopped by Carly’s office just after Jagger’s departure, she was keyed up. Wanting to turn herself in to Jagger right away, Spinelli stopped her and reminded her that would render Jason’s two-year hiatus all for nothing.
Agreeing not to submit to the authorities, Carly has other plans in mind that include Jack as a means of protecting Jason — which, of course, we expect her to botch. But that won’t cost her Jason’s love.
Will these two ever get all of the peripheral problems out of the way that keep them apart long enough to get together?
