Wally Kurth has been doing double duty in daytime on General Hospital and Days of Our Lives for years so it’s no surprise that his characters have had a few leading ladies throughout that time. However, there is one leading lady who means the most to him and that’s his real-life wife Debra.
The actor wasn’t only celebrating Independence day on the Fourth of July, he was also commemorating his wedding anniversary and sent his wife a very sweet message to express just how much their life together means to him.
“Twenty-one years ago we walked down the aisle,” Kurth shared, along with a photo from their wedding day. “Our marriage is officially old enough to drink. So here’s a toast to us.”
His fans and daytime peers jumped into the comments to send their congrats including General Hospital’s Michael Easton (ex-Finn), who stated, “Cheers,” as his Days of Our Lives castmate Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) added,
“Happy Anniversary.” Tamara Braun (Ava) chimed in, “I’ll toast to that!” and Freddie Smith (ex-Sonny) also sent the couple his best “happy anniversary” wishes.

Prior to that, Debra was by her man’s side as they made their way to the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, where Kurth was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his Salem role.
And back in March, he was with his bride “on a blustery birthday weekend” and said, “Here’s to another trip around the sun, my dear.”
We hope the couple had a wonderful anniversary weekend and wish them a lifetime full of happiness!
