Things are heating up in today’s General Hospital and somebody could get burned! Josslyn, Trina, and Gio enjoy the Fourth of July, Laura tries to reassure Portia, Mac reacts to Cody’s outburst, Maxie is shocked, Nina is hopeful, and Willow and Drew try to process the kiss they just shared!
Enjoying the Independence Day fireworks, Josslyn decides they have something to celebrate. “I will cheers to that,” she declares, clinking her beer bottle with Trina’s.
Gio is also enjoying hanging with his new friends and getting to know them better. “I never would’ve guessed,” he exclaims with a smile.
Inside the Quatermaine manse, Portia is still upset about Laura’s attempts to reopen Heather’s case. “My goal is to see that justice is served,” Laura promises.
Unfortunately, Portia doesn’t appear to be particularly reassured by her words.
Inspired by James, Cody decided to suddenly blurt out the truth to Mac, revealing that he’s really his son! “I’m sorry, what did you say?” Mac says as he turns around to face him.
Cody twitches nervously as he’s gonna have some explaining to do. For her part, Maxie doesn’t sound too happy to find out Cody’s been lying to them all this time. “Why did you lie?” she asks, upset.
In the kitchen, Nina admits to Michael and Curtis, “I feel like I’m getting a second chance to make things right.” But given how much Nina wants to have a relationship with Willow, how will she react when she finds out that her daughter just kissed Drew?
Because Drew and Willow can’t quite believe what just happened between them, and she’s not sure they can just dismiss it as a one-off thing. “I’m starting to wonder if it was completely random,” Willow admits. And they don’t even know yet that Sasha saw them kissing! This is a messy situation that can only get messier, so prepare for the worst!
