General Hospital Spoilers : Trina Continues to Struggle with Her Grief

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, July 19, focus on Trina’s grief and an emotional encounter between Laura and Dante. Meanwhile, Carly and Jason have things to figure out.

The Struggle is Real

Trina (Tabyana Ali, who has a new project) shows up to work at Ava’s (Maura West) art gallery. She moves into a new apartment. And she makes herself comfortable under the sun at the Metro Court pool.

Ultimately, she’s living her life, but the thing that’s always on her mind is losing Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

She does a good job mustering up the energy to go about her days and nights without him, but that’s not the whole story. Look for Trina to wrestle with her grief. Does she do it alone or turn to someone for support?

Emotional Moments and Debates

While Trina struggles with her feelings, Laura (Genie Francis — who had a special bond with the late Richard Simmons) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) share an emotional encounter.

Do the former in-laws discuss Lulu (formerly Emme Rylan)? Exactly what happens to send their interaction into emotional territory?

An interesting teaser features Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton), who apparently debate their next move. What does this even mean?

Their next move as friends, something more? Or something completely different? Jason, especially, is at a crossroads right now. Is he looking for a fresh start and a new purpose?

Encouragement and Charm

Once again, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) encourages Cody (Josh Kelly). Presumably, it’s to be a better man, which may mean facing Mac (John J. York) and his anger. At this point, he needs to show up for his dad, and then, maybe Mac will come around and accept Cody as his son. (Learn about Kathleen Gati’s unique hobby here)

Finally, Does Tracy (Jane Elliot) rue the day they turned the Quartermaine compound into a summer camp of sorts? Suddenly, the Q house has turned into Grand Central Station. Look for her to converse with Gio (Giovanni Mazza), who ends up charming her. Lois (Rena Sofer) doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Tracy isn’t terrifying at all! Well, not to Gio, apparently.
