General Hospital (GH) spoilers say Port Charles may have finally seen the last of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
This week on GH, Valentin had no choice but to leave town and take his daughter Charlotte along with him. Will James Patrick Stuart ever come back?
James Patrick Stuart’s Final General Hospital Scenes
There were rumbling for months that General Hospital was losing a leading man, and sadly it looks like James Patrick Stuart was the actor in question.
An exit seemed imminent for a while now, the writers really backed Valentin in to a corner. He was going to have to leave regardless, if Valentin Cassadine didn’t skip town he would have been carted off to prison anyway.
Of course, James’ Patrick Stuart’s final scenes included an emotional farewell with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Valentin begged Anna Devane to leave town with him and start over fresh with his daughter Charlotte Cassadine, but she couldn’t up and leave Port Charles like that and never return.
James Patrick Stuart and General Hospital haven’t released an official statement confirming his exit from the daytime soap, but it seems pretty self-explanatory.
The good news is, Valentin Cassadine didn’t exit the ABC soap in a body bag, so there’s always a possibility of him returning some day down the road.
General Hospital Spoilers: Anna And Valentin Over For Good?
With Anna Devane pulling some strings and his family’s connections, we can never count out the possibility of Valentin somehow getting out of his legal troubles. Maybe in a few years he will pop back up in Port Charles, a free and clear man?
There’s also the possibility of Anna Devane visiting Valentin and Charlotte in Europe once the heat from the FBI dies down.
