Adam Huss rose to instant fame when he stepped into Nikolas Cassadine’s role on General Hospital, post Marcus Coloma’s exit. Even though we don’t see him on-screen as much as we’d like to, he has still managed to win over a huge section of the soap’s fandom.
His fans would love to see more of him as Nik. Unfortunately, it seems their wish won’t be granted anytime soon as Adam has bagged a new project.
The famed actor, recently took to his social media to announce that he is moving away for a new project.
Moreover, he expressed his devastation over having to leave his son behind to accommodate the move. Adam Huss posted a video on his official X account to share the news.
Dressed in a neon green vest, he announced that he has bagged a new baseball-based series. However, he’ll have to move to New York for a month and a half to film.
Unfortunately, that means he’ll have to leave behind his pup-son, a black colored beautiful furry baby. Adam shared that he is beyond sad that he will be separated from his pup for so long.
He assured his fans that the pup will be living with Adam’s family for the duration and that his pup really loves them.
So, the cute fur-ball, who happens to be a senior dog, will no doubt be well taken care of. However, that doesn’t mean that Adam won’t miss him.
Furthermore, the actor shared that the last time he had to travel for work, he took his pup with him, but it won’t be possible this time.
Well, we are truly thrilled that Adam has bagged an exciting new project, and relieved to know that his pup will be cared for while he is away.
However, we are a little concerned as to what his time away would mean for his role as Nik. Will Adam leave General Hospital for good, or will he remain off-screen until he finishes filming for the new project?
We guess we will have to wait and find out. However, as of now, there is no news that confirms his exit from the soap, So, there’s still hope that he’ll continue to play Nik after a short break. But if anything changes, we’ll report back to you on the double!
