Kody has changed, but her original uncomplicated relationship with him seemed comfortable. Perhaps she misses what used to be, rather than the man he has become since Christine departed. Here are some of their opinions:
I think she is in love with and misses who Kody was (or who she thought he was.) She sees who he is now and doesn’t love this new Kody.
Kody was also a great father to her kids compared to Christine. Because she had boys, he was around and playing with them a lot.
