Paedon Brown has stayed out of the spotlight since Sister Wives season 18. As the only son of Kody and Christine Brown, he appeared on their family reality television show for most of his adolescence and early adulthood. As Sister Wives went on, Kody’s relationships with his wives fell apart.
He was married to Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown, but now has a monogamous relationship with his fourth wife, Robyn. Christine was the first wife to leave Kody after years of emotional and physical neglect.
Instead of splitting time equally between his four wives, the Brown family patriarch prioritized his marriage with Robyn. Meri, Janelle, and Christine were left alone during the COVID-19 pandemic, unmasking the problems in their marriages.
He argued they had to be cautious of spreading the virus because of his and Robyn’s young children. Kody may have destroyed the Brown family with strict rules that ostracized him from Meri, Janelle, and Christine. Robyn claims to be devout but has played a part in the distance between her husband and their children, including Paedon.
Since Sister Wives season 18, Paedon has been leading a private life. He hasn’t been relatively active on Instagram since 2023.
However, Paedon has been making videos for fans on his Cameo which have been received with great reception. On February 22, 2024, he received a five-star review from a user who thanked Paedon for the sweet video.
Paedon celebrated his late brother, Garrison Brown’s, birthday in April 2023. He shared a series of pictures on a lake and playing Legos with his family. “It was such an incredible weekend for Garrison‘s birthday a few weeks ago, I miss these guys so bad,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
Janelle and Kody’s son, Garrison, died on March 5, 2024. After his death, the Brown family members asked for privacy while navigating their grief. Paedon is a rather personal person and hasn’t posted on social media since before the tragic incident.
Garrison’s death devastated the Brown family. Christine has always had a deep connection with Janelle’s children. She would stay home and watch the kids while Janelle was away at work.
Their children have naturally gravitated towards each other over their other family members. From Paedon’s April 2023 Instagram post, it was clear that he had a close bond with Garrison. He’s likely been mourning in private, away from the public eye, which he has every right to do.
YB Entertainment shared a clip of one of his Cameo videos in early 2024. Aside from his personalized fan videos, Paedon enters the limelight when commenting on the Brown family dynamics.
On YouTube live with John Yates, he opened up about his experience growing up in polygamy with Meri Brown. In response to a comment referring to her as “abrasive and kind of mean,” Paedon said the claims were true.
Based on his experience with the Sister Wives star, he said “Meri was not nice” and that “Abrasive is not enough of a word to explain what Meri was to a few of us children specifically.” Paedon alleged that things got “so far past verbal.”
During the live, he referenced an infamous Twitter/X fight between Janelle’s daughter, Maddie Brown, and Meri in 2019. Soap Dirt posted screenshots of her posts where Maddie called her a “monster” and wrote, “Try being scared of someone your whole f***ing life and she plays like she’s the one whose hurting!”
Paedon corroborated Maddie’s claims, adding that they “were never safe around [Meri].” He stated that Robyn opened his eyes to Meri’s behavior. Christine has referred to Robyn as Kody’s “favorite wife,” but it seems she has a connection with her son. Paedon would always back his mother regarding issues between her and his father, but it was interesting to hear him say Robyn brought these concerns to his awareness.
Paedon has kept his life private since Sister Wives season 18. He’s lived a large majority of his life on reality TV, and he has every right to stay out of the spotlight if that’s what he chooses. However, sometimes Paedon gets sucked into the drama, but he stays to himself for the most part.
