At Bill’s place, Li declares it’s time they find out who Luna’s father really is. “Is it you, Bill, or is my sister lying?” Poppy and Li bicker until Bill puts a stop to the “sibling rivalry issues” between them. Nothing should tarnish what’s happening today. They’re praying Bill is Luna’s father. Li says, “Then let’s find out… shall we?”

In the design office, Katie tells RJ there could be some truth in what Li’s saying about Poppy. Liam comes in and ask Katie if she wants to guess what his dad just told him. Katie says, “That Luna’s his daughter?” RJ thinks it must be wild for Liam to know he may have a little sister. Liam tells Katie that his dad is excited.

In the main office, Steffy complains to her father that they’re partners and need to be on the same page. He grunts that they can’t always agree about everything. Steffy says Hope’s line is on the decline and he sided with her anyway. Ridge argues he didn’t side with anyone. Losing Hope For the Future is not best for the company right now. Carter agrees with Ridge that the line is an essential component of Forrester. They need time to turn things around. Steffy says it won’t be the same without Thomas, “Dad, you’re going to have to pitch in.” Ridge wants to focus on couture and complains he wants less responsibility, not more. Steffy asks, “What are you saying?”

At Il Giardino, Deacon spots Tom and is happy he decided to come back. Tom won’t let him take his bag… it’s all his worldly possessions. Deacon tells him if he hadn’t helped him find Sheila, he wouldn’t be married. He wants to offer him a job. Tom says most employers don’t like to hire men who struggle with bad habits. Deacon’s not most employers and has enough bad habits of his own. He asks if he’s in recovery and will show up on time and work hard. Tom says, “Yessir.” Deacon asks him not to call him that again and they strike a deal.

Hope arrives at the Forrester mansion and tells her mother that Hope For the Future lives on… Ridge totally ruled against Steffy. Brooke’s thrilled and they embrace. Hope says Brooke should have been in the meeting. She laughs at the look on Steffy’s face when Ridge and Carter agreed with her.

They go over Brooke being the face of the company for decades. She has brains, beauty, talent, and confidence. “Would you ever want to take a more active role in Forrester?” Brooke could run the place and doesn’t feel that Steffy is offering competent leadership. Hope thinks her mother wants back in. Brooke doesn’t want to step on any toes. Hope scoffs that she doesn’t want to upset the high and mighty Steffy Forrester. They laugh. “Right.”

At Il Giardino, Deacon asks Tom how he’s fixed for a place to stay. Tom says he’s fine and Deacon’s already done so much for him. Deacon says he changed his life; they’ll be indebted to him forever. Tom appreciates it. “What can I do for you?” he asks. Deacon wonders if he could work in the kitchen.

Tom shakes his head; he can barely make a microwave work. Deacon suggests serving, but he’s sure he’d spill on the customers. Deacon looks at his tablet and complains that he got a pizza order and the delivery guy already left. Tom perks up. “Delivering pizzas… I could do that. I still have a valid driver’s license.” Deacon tells him to grab the keys to the van and take a uniform from the back. He warns it’s an important order. Tom’s got this.

In the main office at Forrester, Ridge tells Steffy he wants to focus on designing. Thomas is gone, Eric’s not there that much, so someone has to come up with product. Without that they don’t have a company.

“We all understand that, right?” They bicker about Hope For the Future and Ridge says it will be fine. He has to focus on couture or it’s going to suffer. Steffy will have to step up. Steffy says she has the experience, but that’s a lot on her plate right now. Is he sure about this?!

In the design office, Liam mutters about the suspense of waiting. RJ can’t imagine how Bill and Luna must feel. Liam says it sounds like they’re both hoping it will work out. Katie muses that according to Li, Poppy would like nothing more. Tom arrives with the pizzas from Il Giardino, and RJ doles it out. Katie notes it could be a while before they find out if Bill is Luna’s daughter.

At Bill’s, Li explains how the testing goes. She’ll swab their cheeks, put them in solution, and then dispense it onto a testing strip. Two stripes and Bill’s the father, one stripe and he’s not. Poppy snarks at Li and Luna asks her to chill. Bill hopes that soon, he’ll be told he’s Luna’s daughter. Li performs the test, and everyone watches tensely as she puts the solution on the test stick. Li declares that soon they’ll know whether Luna’s mother is telling the truth and Bill really is her father.

Tom returns to Il Giardino and tells Deacon the delivery went great but they tipped online. “What does that mean?” Deacon will explain it later and tells Tom, “Great job.”

At Forrester, Ridge thinks Steffy will do fine, but if she needs help, they can find her help. There must be someone at Forrester who can step up.

At Eric’s house, Hope gushes about her mother still being a coveted legend in the fashion world. She thinks she should be leading the company forward. Brooke reminds her there’s no room at the top. Hope complains that Steffy’s only in her position because of her dad. It’s not like she put in years of hard work like Brooke did. She’s tired of her acting like they’re beneath her. Brooke worked her way up and that was not something to be ashamed of. Steffy has an elitist attitude and Hope is sick of it. She begs her mother to take control of the company so they can put an end to Steffy’s leadership.

In the design office, Liam’s about to take off when RJ gets a text from Luna saying they’re taking the paternity test right now.

At Bill’s place, Li wonders if Penelope is nervous. Poppy says, “Wouldn’t you be, Li? You can see how badly Luna wants Bill to be her father.” Li narrows her eyes, “You’d like that too, wouldn’t you?” Bill thinks it must almost be time. Li says, “Not too much longer.”

She tells Bill it’s great to see him again. Luna’s surprised they know each other. Li tells her Finn’s birth mother Sheila ran her off the road one night. It was horrifying and she lost her memory. Bill found her, brought her there, and took care of her. The timer goes and Li walks over to check the strip. “Well, look what we have here.” Luna and Poppy plead with her to reveal the results. Bill snaps, “Am I Luna’s father or not?!”

Next on The Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge makes a surprising offer to Brooke, Hope vows to Steffy that she won’t get rid of the Logans, and the identity of Luna’s father is revealed.
