The minute The Bold and The Beautiful teased the presence of a mystery woman in Monte Carlo, we knew there was a possibility of Taylor Hayes’ return to the fold. For the unversed, Ridge and Brooke are in Monte Carlo for the relaunch event for Brooke’s Bedroom collection. However, unknown to them, they are being spied on!
The Bold and The Beautiful recently released a promo where a woman, whose face is covered by a scarf, is spying on Brooke and Ridge, as they romance in the locales of Monaco.
The latest B&B spoilers spill that the mystery woman will follow them back to LA and become a threat to their relationship.
Every detail in the spoilers and the preview pointed toward the return of one character- Taylor Hayes! And the speculations have hit the bull’s eye! B&B is indeed bringing her back!
The role was most recently played by actress Krista Allen when the role was recast in 2021. However, Hunter Tylo originated the role back in 1990 and continued to portray the role on and off till 2019.
Krista Allen exited the soap in 2023 when the makers tried to demote her from contract to recurring. Thus, when reports started surfacing that Tyalor was coming back, many fans thought Hunter Tylo would return.
However, that’s not the case! Daytime star, Rebecca Budig has already stepped into the role!
In a recent chat with Soap Opera Daily, Rebecca expressed that she is very excited to play Taylor and that she is grateful for the opportunity.
Interestingly, she is no stranger to soap operas. Rebecca is famous for her portrayal of Hayden Barnes on General Hospital. However, she has also been part of other soaps, such as All My Children and Guiding Lights.
Brooke and Ridge had really been going too steady. Thus, as always happens in daytime, they were long due for some trouble in their relationship.
