Goodbye to the Corporate World

Floyd teased an update about his Y&R character on Instagram. On Monday, October 7, he shared a photo of himself holding Chance’s Law Enforcement Officer badge.

Chance was previously working at Abbott-Chancellor. After getting shot, he thought he would have better luck in the corporate world.

However, the business world is just as lethal, albeit figuratively. Chance didn’t fit in with his new position, so he returned to his previous position as Genoa City’s police detective.

Chance is needed since there’s been an investigation into Heather’s (Vail Bloom) murder. Floyd couldn’t be happier for his character to get involved in this murder mystery.

“Guess who’s back! [The Young and the Restless] Tune in this week on [CBS],” Floyd teased on his Instagram post, which you can see below.

Back On The Job

Monday’s episode of Y&R reveals that Chance is already back to work. He spoke with Daniel (Michael Graziadei) about what could’ve happened to Heather.

Later this week, it looks like Chance will interrogate Sharon (Sharon Case)…his ex-girlfriend…about the case.

Viewers are ecstatic to see more of Chance on their screen. They took to Floyd’s Instagram post to react. One fan wrote, “Glad you are back on the police force.”

Another use mused, “Thank goodness it’s what Chance was born to do. Genoa City always had blue collar police families and detectives, it’s only right.”

Other fans wondered what Chance’s mother, Nina (Tricia Cast), would think since she didn’t want him working with the police department anymore.

Summer (Allison Lanier) already shared her thoughts about her boyfriend returning to his former job on Monday’s episode.

She admitted it made her nervous, but she was happy to see him involved with Heather’s case. It means the world for her brother to get some closure.
