Young and the Restless Star Conner Floyd Spills Big (And Small) Behind-The-Scenes Secrets

The Young and the Restless has some iconic sets that viewers know instantly when they see them. Recently, Conner Floyd (check out these facts), who portrays Chance Chancellor, took fans behind the scenes to give them an up-close look at what they really look like, and some of it will surprise you.

A Day In The Life Of Genoa City

Floyd starts his video in the park. “It is a beautiful day in the park,” he says. “But actually, we’re inside,” the actor reveals, panning the camera around to show what else is in the area.

As the video progresses, Floyd shows off Society, but it ends and becomes other sets.

The actor also gives fans a view of several sets of stairs to…nowhere. Fans who miss Sharon (Sharon Case) will be thrilled to see that the stairs to her house are there, which seems to indicate she’ll have scenes at her house sometime soon, perhaps.

He says that Abby (Melissa Ordway, who also did a behind-the-scenes) probably won’t mind him getting a bit of alcohol from behind the bar at Society. However, it turns out that each one of them is fake.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is the jukebox at Crimson Lights. Floyd gives fans a perusal of the selections, and one surprising thing is that every single album listed happens to have the same exact songs on them.

However, we do have it on good authority that when characters have food in the scenes, it’s frequently real, and the actors do eat it.

It’s not surprising to see the behind-the-scenes look at the sets and learn that much of it isn’t as real as the cameras and actors make them look each day. What was your favorite part of Floyd’s look at the sets in Genoa City? Let us know in the comments below.
