Exclusive: Hayley Erin in Claire and Kyle Romance on Y&R teases the exciting upcoming story
Viewers aren’t the only ones who have noticed sparks between Claire and Kyle on The Young & The Restless. Cole and Victoria have remarked on how Claire talks about Kyle, and Mariah questioned Kyle’s feelings for Harrison’s new nanny. But could anything really happen between the two?
“Kyle’s such a great character and he is multifaceted like Claire,” Hayley Erin told Soaps In Depth about her alter ego’s feelings for the guy. “But as far as Claire is concerned, she’s only ever seen kindness and understanding and been given grace by Kyle.
“So he’s a real ally to her and it doesn’t hurt that he’s… you know, kind of good-looking,” she added with a laugh.
Now that she and Kyle are divorced, Summer may still have a say in who takes care of Harrison, but she doesn’t really get to say anything about Kyle’s social life.
Still, while Claire and Kyle are both single, they may not be ready to mingle quite yet!
“While I don’t think her head is there right now,” Erin mused, “there’s definitely the potential.”
Plus, if Claire and Kyle started dating, there’s also the potential to create all kinds of extra drama with Summer, who already doesn’t like her! “Which we love!” Erin chuckled.
