Comings & Goings: Conner Floyd’s Recurring Status Confirmed – Christopher Cousins Exits as Martin
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to talk about, so let’s dive right in. For starters, Christopher Cousins has wrapped his brief run as Martin Laurent now that Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) twisted twin has fallen to his demise.
After Alan got into a physical confrontation with Martin, they flew off the balcony together.
Alan landed on top of his disturbed brother and survived with only a minor sprain, but Martin suffered a grim fate.
There’s no word yet on how long Christopher Cousins will remain in the role of Alan Laurent, but we certainly hope he sticks around for the romance that seems to be brewing between Alan and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland)!
If you’re wondering who helped bring the twin showdown scenes to life, Christian Howard served as a double for Alan and Martin.
We should also mention that Conner Floyd’s (Conner Floyd) recurring status has seemingly been confirmed.
Floyd has already been in the news since his name was dropped from the contract list in the end-of-show credits.
Some fans held onto hope that maybe it was some sort of a mistake, but there was no way to know for sure until Floyd made another appearance.
Recurring players only pop up in the credits during the week they actually air.
Now Conner Floyd has finally been back on-screen in scenes with Allison Lanier (Summer Newman), so viewers could see for themselves that his name was definitely in the recurring section.
In other Y&R comings and goings news, Gina Garcia-Sharp will appear in more scenes as Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) assistant, so she’ll carry out some new orders soon enough.
Redding Munsell will also reprise his role as Harrison Abbott, so look for Harrison to hang out with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) on June 12.
