Summer has grown up a lot over the years, especially since her return from Milan. Summer is trying to be reasonable and an adult about the whole nanny situation. However, Summer admitted to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) how she really feels about Claire.
Then, Chance reminded Summer that Claire is just a nanny, which is temporary. Summer is Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) mother, which is forever. Summer replied that she hopes Claire understands that.
