Y&R Spoilers: Sharon Goes Wild – Is an Enemy Behind Doctor’s Shady Prescription Change?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) could be gearing up for a new storyline related to her bipolar medication.
In the June 17 episode, Sharon shows some warning signs by being almost manically happy over Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) progress and then blowing her top during a business-related phone call.
Although Sharon tells Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that her doctor changed her meds because of a blood sugar issue, what if there’s something more nefarious afoot?
Despite Sharon’s attempt to downplay the med change as a precaution and explain away her behavior due to the adjustment period, more problems may be in store.
Over on General Hospital, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is also bipolar and has a storyline where his own meds are secretly being tampered with by an enemy.
Although Sonny is taking his pills, he doesn’t realize he’s on a much weaker dosage and that it’s influencing his behavior.
Could Y&R have a similar story in the works? What if an enemy influenced the doctor and got Sharon on these new meds for sinister reasons?
That might’ve made it easier to tamper with the dosage and launch a wild streak for Sharon.
Maybe this is a situation where an old foe is targeting Sharon when she least expects it.
It’d be interesting if Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) had a vengeful relative or even an obsessed former lover.
What if someone blames Sharon for Cameron’s demise and wants payback as a result?
Whatever the case, our predictions hint that Sharon’s behavior could become increasingly erratic and lead to growing concerns – especially from Nick since he knows she’s on a new prescription.
Nick could easily do some investigating and become the hero who exposes any wicked scheme that might be underway.
It’d be a great strategy to bring Nick and Sharon closer if Y&R finally intends on reuniting them.
