The Young and the Restless

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, June 21 – Faith Returns to GC

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 21, reveal that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will come home for an important reason. Since Friday will mark Joshua Morrow’s 30th anniversary at Y&R, the show will celebrate with a tribute to his three decades playing Nick Newman.

Of course, there’ll be some flashbacks of Nick’s younger days. Joshua Morrow debuted as an aged-up teenage Nick who was fresh out of boarding school, so it’ll be fun seeing that baby face again in clips.

Morrow stuck around in the role and eventually became part of plenty of important storylines over the years – including the devastating loss of Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes), which led to him hooking up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in his time of grief.

However, we certainly can’t ignore Nick’s long history with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), who’ll play a prominent role in Joshua Morrow’s tribute episode.

Faith’s homecoming will tie in with this part since she’ll get Sharon and Nick talking about their love story once she returns.

Sharon will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Faith’s imminent arrival after he brings over some of their daughter’s favorite snacks.

It won’t be long until Faith walks in the door, so she’ll greet Sharon and Nick with some hugs.

Once Sharon senses that Faith’s upset, Faith will break down in tears and ask why men are such jerks.

It turns out Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) broke up with Faith since he felt they got together too young and needed to see other people.

The Young and Restless Twist That Could Lead To a Nick/Sharon Reunion

Although Nick and Sharon will give Faith a pep talk following her relationship updates, she’ll insist that she’s never going to fall in love again.

Considering all the breakups Sharon and Nick have been through, Faith will wonder how they can even stand to be in the same room together.

Nick and Sharon will point out that they had some happy times, too.

After Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) join the gathering, Faith will push Sharon and Nick to tell their whole love story.

That’ll bring plenty of flashbacks of Nick’s romantic history with Sharon – the good, the bad and the ugly! Sharon and Nick will reflect on the birth of their children as well as all the cheating scandals and Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) demise.

There’ll also be some flashbacks of Nick’s affair with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and his reunion attempts with Sharon, including their latest failed wedding fiasco.

Despite all the ways they hurt each other, Nick will make it clear that Sharon will always hold a special place in his heart – and Sharon will feel the same way about Nick.

Faith will eventually have a better grasp of what love is like, so she’ll share a group hug with Sharon and Nick after Mariah and Tessa head home.

With Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) present as well, Nick and Sharon will reflect on all their ups and downs over the years.

Is the Door Open For a Y&R Sharon and Nick Newman Reunion?

That’ll bring a romantic blast from the past for fans – especially the ones who are still rooting for Sharon and Nick as a couple.

Faith might wonder if a reunion could be in the works after she hears everything Nick and Sharon have to say. One thing’s for sure: Sharon and Nick will always have a special bond.

As a fun side note, viewers will see the return of Sharon’s cottage set in Friday’s episode. It’s always nice when Sharon can be in her cozy home instead of being stuck at the coffeehouse.

Our Y&R predictions hint that Joshua Morrow’s anniversary episode will come with some surprises too, so fans will definitely want to tune in and help celebrate 30 years of Nick!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s future in Genoa City is bright, so stick with us for updates on any big news on what’s ahead.
