The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, June 24 Update: Diane Threatens to Fire Kyle
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, June 24, reveals that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will push Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to let the past go and just embrace this new opportunity to work together, but he’ll have trouble getting past all her backstabbing.
When Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) spies Audra and Kyle with their heads together, she’ll get suspicious and set Kyle off with all her questions.
Diane will eventually hand down an ultimatum and warn that Kyle will be fired if he doesn’t fall in line.
Although Kyle will have his doubts about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) supporting Diane’s view, she’ll remind him that he’s been given the boot from the family business before.
At the Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will refuse to listen to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) opinions since he’ll still believe Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) needs to run Newman Media temporarily.
Despite Nick and Nikki’s concerns about Victor’s hidden agenda, they’ll know he pretty much always gets his way on stuff like this.
That’s why Nikki will relent and just concentrate on the charity work that she’s been neglecting – at least until her sobriety is a bit more secure.
At the tack house, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) won’t see why Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) has to live with them and will think she belongs at the Abbott house instead since she works there.
After Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) shuts down the idea of throwing Claire out, Victor will stop by to catch up with Katie and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).
That’ll lead to Victor reflecting on his days in the orphanage and playing up what a lonely childhood Claire had as well.
Katie will seem surprised when Victor talks about Claire always wanting a sister like her to love, so she’ll eventually seem more willing to give Claire a chance.
Once Katie and Johnny go swimming, Victoria will let Victor know that she appreciates everything he said to Katie.
As for whether Victoria will return to Newman Enterprises, she’ll finally agree to seriously consider it.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victor will find Kyle at the GCAC and apply more pressure when it comes to co-running Glissade with Audra.
Kyle will seem open to stepping away from Jabot, but he’ll voice concerns about Audra’s manipulative history and push himself as a sole CEO candidate instead.
At the bar in Paris, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will have drinks with Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) after dinner and will help him deal with his lingering guilt over Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins).
Alan will also comfort Traci since she’ll be haunted over Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) trauma and the possibility that she missed something that happened in her childhood.
However, Alan and Traci will manage to have some lighter, flirtatious moments too, so Traci will seem like she’s on cloud nine once the date’s over.
