The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 26, reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) visit to Maryland will come with some curveballs.
Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) was finally making progress the last time he talked to his parents on a video chat, so Chelsea and Adam have been excited about seeing him in person.
Although Connor will indeed appear in scenes this week, so will Dr. Hammond (Nancy De Mayo) – and she’ll apparently have some alarming news.
Chelsea and Adam may get updates on another setback for Connor, so that could keep them in town for a little while.
Y&R spoilers say Adam and Chelsea will spend some time together in a hotel suite as they process everything that’s happening with their son, so Connor’s ordeal could bring them much closer.
Could Chelsea and Adam hit the sheets in a moment of vulnerability or will they manage to keep things platonic?
This storyline could become a cause for concern if you’re rooting for Adam’s relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) or Chelsea’s romance with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Speaking of Billy, he’ll face Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) ultimatum as she gets on another video call with him.
Jill seemed uncertain when Billy told her about his deal with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), so she’ll have some stipulations if all this is going to move forward.
Perhaps Jill will want Lily to sign a new contract confirming she won’t just bolt to Winters once the merger is undone.
Billy may act like he trusts Lily, but Jill might worry about Lily’s family loyalty.
However, Devon will actually question that family loyalty on Wednesday’s episode and express doubts about some of the decisions Lily’s making.
It could lead to Devon asking if Lily truly wants to remain at Abbott-Chancellor once the merger split happens.
