The Young and the Restless: 3 New Couples That Need to Happen ASAP, Fresh Romances for Audra, Traci and Phyllis

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that love can get messy in Genoa City, but it’s often the ticket to great drama and exciting material. There are certainly some women in GC who could use new love interests, so let’s talk about three couples that need to happen ASAP.

1) Audra and Nate

Y&R has been teasing the possibility of an Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) pairing for what feels like forever. Is it ever really going to happen?

Time will tell, but there’s no denying that Nate and Audra have some sizzling chemistry.

The show would be smart to take advantage of it, especially now that Audra and Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) relationship has blown up.

This is Audra’s chance to let herself fall hard for Nate, so it’ll be interesting to see if these two actually get together.

2) Traci and Alan

Now that viewers have gotten to know Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), it’d be nice if he could stick around and have a romance on the show.

Fans have been rooting for Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) to find love again for years, so could Alan be her perfect match?

It’s worth mentioning that Traci and Alan have really bonded over their joint effort to help Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) with her mental health crisis.

Perhaps it’s significant that Alan and Traci have been connecting on their Paris trip.

There was even a sweet moment where Traci and Alan touched hands in the June 7 episode, so maybe they could truly be a new pairing option.

Just imagine Traci finally getting a handsome, intelligent boyfriend after all this time!

3) Phyllis and Tucker

Although Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) still loves Ashley deep down, she needs to focus on her recovery.

Even once Ashley’s back to her old self, it might be better to avoid a reunion with Tucker since he was inadvertently tangled up in her trauma.

Audra always felt like a rebound for lonely Tucker, so perhaps he should just move on.

The show has toyed with the idea of pairing up Tucker and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) befoe, so they should really just go all in on them as a couple.

Phyllis and Tucker have an interesting spark due to their scheming personalities, so they might be a good match for each other if they’d just surrender and give each other a chance.
