Soap operas are filled with scandal, romance, love, lies, revenge and much more, so… how do the younger stars on The Young and the Restless escape all of that drama? They team up and head out for an afternoon of fun, of course!

Earlier this week, Paxton Mishkind (Johnny) posted a few photos while hanging out with his fellow castmates Sienna Rose Mercuri (Katie) and Redding Munsell (Harrison) at The Grove. First, the kids enjoyed some cold treats and while Mishkind and Mercuri paused to smile for the camera, Munsell couldn’t resist taking one more bite of ice cream.

Next, the group jumped on a trolley and playfully leaned over the side with their thumbs out before hitting up the Apple store to listen to some tunes.

For those who don’t know what The Grove is, it’s a 575,000-square-foot outdoor marketplace in Los Angeles, where one can shop, grab a bit to eat and take in the culture and entertainment in its large center park, featuring an animated fountain that plays a show every hour.

When Don J. Orlando posed in the comments to ask if the Farmers Market was still there, Mishkind replied, “Farmers Market is still there.”

And the best part is, it’s only three minutes away from the CBS studios so anytime they need some downtime from the drama in Genoa City, they can walk on over and take a break.

Even though there are too many to include, now is the perfect time to look at our gallery below filled with photos of some of soaps’ all-time cutest kids.
