Sally Spectra’s whole life has taken a huge hit all over again, thanks to Adam Newman’s hookup with Chelsea, per The Young and The Restless Spoilers. The truth finally came out of the bag when Chelsea couldn’t take it anymore and confessed to Billy. He then stormed to Sally and Adam’s place and exposed him to her.
In the upcoming episodes, Sally will most certainly be reeling in the aftermath of the betrayal. Moreover, she won’t have anyone to depend on in these difficult times, as she has practically no family in Genoa City.
For the unversed, Sally Spectra 2.0 first originated on The Bold and The Beautiful, as an ode to the OG Sally Spectra who was Sally’s grand aunt!
However, in 2020, Sally Spectra crossed over to Y&R full-time, recall The Young and The Restless Spoilers. Previously, it had been established that Sally’s parents worked with a carnival and traveled a lot.
That’s why she was singlehandedly raised by her grams. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if suddenly Sally’s mom was to land in GC?
Needless to say, she would be an out-and-out troublemaker who finds herself at odds with many other women on the CBS drama.
She may initially arrive in GC in hopes of reconnecting with her daughter. However, soon she would get embroiled in other storylines as a potstirrer. In fact, some fans even have the perfect actress in mind to play the part!
A Reddit user suggested that if the Y&R makers decide to integrate Sally’s mother into the storyline, they could cast Sarah Buxton (ex-Morgan Dewitt on B&B) in the role! Many fellow fans agreed with the idea and pointed out that the resemblance is actually striking! Honestly, we completely agree!
Interestingly, The Young and The Restless Spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers may soon turn a new leaf after she decides to walk the path of redemption. Thus, emptying the throne of the town troublemaker! So, the soap will have to bring someone in to stir some chaos, right? Who better than a character from a legacy family?
